Job summary
Ryman Healthcare in Hobsonville Auckland is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse or Senior Caregiver to join our clinical leadership team as the Unit Coordinator for the Keith Park Retirement Village. This full-time role runs Sunday to Thursday 0800–1630 with a shared on-call component.
You will lead the Serviced Apartment Unit, coach your team, coordinate care plans, and build lasting relationships with residents and their families while supporting the Clinical Manager and Village Manager.
Qualifications
- Qualified Enrolled Nurse or Senior Caregiver with leadership potential.
- Experience in elder care and team coaching.
- Ability to engage with residents' families and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support the unit team to deliver consistent care.
- Foster a safe, positive work culture.
- Ensure care plans are assessed, updated, and evaluated for residents.
- Engage with families, Allied Health, and DHBs to build relationships.
- Support InterRAI assessments by the nursing team.
- Occasionally work beyond rostered hours to assist events.
- Provide flexible rostered hours to connect with all team members.
- Communicate with respect and trust within the team.
- Be a collaborative member supporting Clinical and Village Managers.
