Job summary

New Zealand School of Tourism is seeking a Tourism Tutor for the Auckland Airport campus. The role involves delivering high‑quality training to our akonga, using existing curriculum and resources to ensure a strong student experience as learners progress toward their qualifications.

No prior teaching experience is required as comprehensive training and teaching tools are provided to help you succeed in this trainer role. We value diversity and foster inclusive education across our programmes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in tourism, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Diploma or degree in Tourism is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training to akonga across Tourism courses.
• Facilitate learning using current curriculum and resources.
• Support students to progress and achieve qualifications.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to learners.
