Job summary

Fonterra Te Mātāpuna, Reporoa depot, is seeking an L6 Operations Assistant to support day-to-day milk collection operations and maintain tanker hygiene to ensure fleet compliance.

You will handle administration, health and safety tasks, and provide reporting and audit support, with a must-have A Class 5 license and recent driving experience. This role runs Monday to Friday, day shifts, with development opportunities within a global dairy co-operative.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to navigate computer systems and perform data entry and reporting.
• A Class 5 license and recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective operation of yard equipment and conduct SOP checks in CIP and milk reception/load-out bays.
• Maintain stock levels for office and depot consumables within budget.
• Assist with driving and relocating tankers, collecting/delivering people.
• Conduct CIP testing and record chemical/temperature levels, faults, and issues.
• Investigate tanker gradings and action maintenance requests.
• Regular reporting and completing compliance documentation
• Provide administrative and operational support during audits, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently
