Job summary

Fonterra Te Mātāpuna invites applications for an L6 Operations Assistant based at the Reporoa depot in the Waikato region. You will support day-to-day milk collection operations, maintain truck hygiene, and ensure fleet compliance for milk collection across seasons.

The role emphasizes safety, product integrity, and customer service, with strong reporting duties. A Class 5 license and basic Microsoft Office skills are essential; the role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and opportunities

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to navigate computer systems and perform data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard equipment and check SOPs in CIP and milk reception bays; includes confined space work.
• Maintain stock levels for office and depot consumables within budget.
• Assist with driving and relocating tankers, collecting/delivering people.
• Conduct CIP testing and record chemical/temperature levels, faults, and issues.
• Investigate tanker gradings and action maintenance requests.
• Regular reporting and completion of compliance documentation.
• Provide administrative and operational support during audits, ensuring requirements are met.
