Fonterra Te Mātāpuna in Pahiatua is seeking an Operations Assistant for Transport to support day-to-day milk collection operations and maintain truck hygiene standards. You will help ensure fleet compliance, assist with tankers relocation, and contribute to accurate reporting and data entry.

This hands-on role requires adaptability, strong health and safety focus, and a proactive team approach. A Class 5 licence is beneficial, and a commitment to operational excellence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure yard equipment operates effectively and perform visual checks per SOPs for CIP and milk reception/load-out bays.
• Maintain depot consumable stock within budget requirements.
• Assist with driving and relocation of tankers and transport personnel when required.
• Conduct CIP testing and record chemical levels, temperatures, faults and issues.
• Investigate tanker gradings and coordinate maintenance requests.
• Complete regular reporting and maintain accurate operational documentation.
