Job summary

The role is based in Dunedin with guaranteed hours, and offers a pay rate of $33–$36 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities include fleet planning, driver rostering, route optimisation, and maintaining safety and contractual compliance with NZ Post.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport operations management.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and coordinate drivers.
• Familiarity with client requirements and NZ Post agreements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and control daily transport operations for timely deliveries.
• Manage and coordinate a fleet of courier vehicles including scheduling.
• Supervise drivers, including rostering and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with NZ Post contractual obligations and reporting.
• Monitor efficiency, route optimisation, fuel usage and delivery performance.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and safety compliance.
