Job summary
Marketplace is seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers for a major civil construction project in Picton, starting January 2027. You will operate Class 5 truck and trailer units, transporting materials to and from civil sites and quarries, while navigating around heavy machinery and site personnel.
Ideal candidates have a full Class 5 licence, proven civil construction driving experience, road Ranger gearbox familiarity, and competency reversing truck and trailer combinations.
Qualifications

- Proven civil construction driving experience.
- Confident with Road Ranger gearboxes.
- Experience reversing truck and trailer units.
- Comfortable with jackknife manoeuvres.
- Site Safe or ConstructSafe certification required; assistance can be provided.

We're seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers to join a major civil construction project in Picton, commencing January 2027.
We're looking for confident drivers who have experience working in busy civil environments and are comfortable operating truck and trailer units across construction sites and quarries.
- Operating Class 5 truck and trailer units
- Transporting materials to and from civil construction sites
- Working in and out of quarries
- Reversing and manoeuvring truck and trailer combinations
- Operating safely around heavy machinery and site personnel
- Full Class 5 licence
- Proven civil construction driving experience
- Confident operating Road Ranger gearboxes
- Experience reversing truck and trailer units
- Confident with jack-knifing manoeuvres
- Previous quarry and construction site experience
- Site Safe or ConstructSafe required – assistance with Site Safe can be provided
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently
- $34–$36 per hour, depending on experience
- Long-term work on a 12-month project
- January 2027 start
