Job summary

Marketplace is seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers for a major civil construction project in Picton, starting January 2027. You will operate Class 5 truck and trailer units, transporting materials to and from civil sites and quarries, while navigating around heavy machinery and site personnel.

Ideal candidates have a full Class 5 licence, proven civil construction driving experience, road Ranger gearbox familiarity, and competency reversing truck and trailer combinations.

Qualifications

• Full Class 5 licence is required.
• Proven civil construction driving experience.
• Confident with Road Ranger gearboxes.
• Experience reversing truck and trailer units.
• Comfortable with jackknife manoeuvres.
• Site Safe or ConstructSafe certification required; assistance can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 5 truck and trailer units on civil sites.
• Transport materials to and from construction sites and quarries.
• Work around heavy machinery and site personnel.
• Reversing and manoeuvring trucks and trailers safely.
