This casual role is an opportunity to deliver responsive, customer-focused service at Nelson City Council’s transfer station. You’ll help customers access information and services, process payments, balance tills and support the wider customer service team with administrative tasks. By providing clear, accurate and consistent service, you’ll help create a positive experience. .

The hours for this role will be on a causal basis as required and will include weekends.
Your excellent communication skills combined with your customer service and cash handling experience, ability to work as part of a team and confidence to navigate around a variety of computer systems, are what will make your application stand out from your peers.
Ideally you will have the flexibility to work week days and weekends if required.
