Job summary

Are you passionate about developing people, building industry relationships, and helping New Zealand's workforce succeed?

We are seeking an energetic and relationship-focused Training Advisor with an automotive industry qualification or significant automotive industry experience. You will work closely with employers and learners across the automotive, commercial road transport, logistics, extractives, drilling and gas industries. In this varied and rewarding role, you will support workforce development initiatives, promote training opportunities, and help learners achieve their qualifications while building strong industry partnerships.

About the Role
As a Training Advisor, you will:
  • Manage and support learners to achieve qualifications and training milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and industry stakeholders.
  • Promote training programmes and workforce development opportunities.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide guidance and support.
  • Identify opportunities to expand engagement with existing and new customers.

An automotive industry qualification or significant automotive industry experience is essential. Experience in learner support, training delivery, workforce development, or customer relationship management would be beneficial to your success in this role.
