Job summary

Intelligent Installations Limited is a small Auckland AV/IT integration company. We design, install, program and commission control, audio, video and network systems — mostly on visiting superyachts, plus high-end homes and commercial sites. No experience required; attitude matters.

You’ll be on client vessels, in homes and offices and must have a full NZ driver’s licence and the right to work in NZ. Training and certification are provided, with occasional vessel travel and a supportive

Qualifications

• Think before you act and ask when unsure.
• Turn up on time, every day.
• Do it right the first time rather than twice.
• Be presentable and able to talk with clients on vessels, homes and offices.
• Hold a full NZ driver’s licence and have the right to work in NZ.
• Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces and lifting gear.

Responsibilities

• Cable pulls and terminations, rack builds, mounting displays and speakers, testing and fault-finding, and keeping the van, tools and site in order.

Intelligent Installations is a small Auckland AV/IT integration company. We design, install, program and commission control, audio, video and network systems — mostly on visiting superyachts, plus high-end homes and commercial sites.

We do not care what you’ve done before. No experience, wrong trade, career change, straight out of school — all fine. What we can’t teach is attitude.

What we’re actually looking for

• You think before you act, and you ask when you don’t know
• You turn up, on time, every day
• You’d rather do it once properly than twice quickly
• You’re presentable and can hold a conversation — you’ll be on client vessels, in their homes and offices
• Full NZ driver’s licence and the right to work in NZ
• Comfortable at heights, in tight spaces, and lifting gear

What you’ll be doing

Cable pulls and terminations, rack builds, mounting displays and speakers, assisting with testing and fault-finding, and keeping the van, tools and site in order.

• $35–$45 per hour depending on what you bring (roughly $73k–$94k full-time)
