Job summary

AWF Limited is seeking reliable Traffic Management workers to join our Dunedin team. You’ll support crews on live roadwork sites across the region, staying active, outdoors, and focused on safety. You will be first on site and last to leave to ensure safety, with early starts and long days in all weather conditions.

This role offers weekly wages, PPE provided, and ongoing work opportunities to build a career in civil and roading sectors. Training and upskilling are available for the right people.

Qualifications

• NZ driver's licence required.
• Strong spoken English and clear communication.
• Reliability, punctuality, and safety-first mindset.
• Able to work long hours and early starts.
• Previous roading or TTM experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stop/Go paddles and E-stops on live sites.
• Communicate clearly over radio with onsite team.
• Direct motorists and pedestrians safely through work zones.
• Support general roadwork labouring as required.
• Work early mornings and long days.
• Be first onsite and last to leave to keep the site safe.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

We are looking for reliable and safety conscious Traffic Management (TTM) workers to join our Dunedin team, supporting crews on live roadwork sites across the region. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a tight knit crew that keeps traffic moving safely, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating Stop/Go paddles and E-stops on live sites
• Communicating clearly over radio with your onsite team
• Directing motorists and pedestrians safely through work areas
• Supporting general roadwork labouring as required
• Working early mornings and long days
• Being first onsite and last to leave, ensuring the site is safe at all times
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

What You Need:

• A Full NZ driver licence
• Strong understanding and spoken English with clear communication
• Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset
• Ability to work long hours, early starts, and in all conditions
• Previous roading or TTM experience is helpful but not essential
