Job summary

Select Recruitment (New Zealand) is seeking reliable Traffic Management (TTM) workers for our Dunedin team to support live roadwork sites across the region. If you enjoy outdoor work, staying active, and being part of a tight-knit crew that keeps traffic moving safely, this is a great fit.

No prior TTM experience is required, but helpful, and training is available. Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand and be prepared for early starts, long days, and outdoor conditions, with PPE

• Strong English communication and reliability.
• Punctual, safety-first mindset and able to follow procedures.
• Willingness to work early starts, long days, and outdoors.
• Previous roading or TTM experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stop/Go paddles and E-stops on live sites.
• Communicate clearly over radio with onsite team.
• Direct motorists and pedestrians safely through work areas.
• Work early mornings and long days.
• Be first onsite and last to leave, ensuring the site is safe.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

We are looking for reliable and safety conscious Traffic Management (TTM) workers to join our Dunedin team, supporting crews on live roadwork sites across the region. What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating Stop/Go paddles and E-stops on live sites
• Communicating clearly over radio with your onsite team
• Directing motorists and pedestrians safely through work areas
• Working early mornings and long days
• Being first onsite and last to leave, ensuring the site is safe at all times
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

What You Need:

• Strong understanding and spoken English with clear communication
• Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset
• Ability to work long hours, early starts, and in all conditions
• Previous roading or TTM experience is helpful but not essential
