Job summary

Traffic Safe NZ Ltd is seeking a hands-on Crew Supervisor to manage daily TTM operations in the Auckland region. You will coordinate crews, vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and client requirements are met while working across sites day and night.

You will audit safety compliance on-site, mentor field teams, and act as the primary liaison with clients. A Site Traffic Management Supervisor qualification and a NZ driver’s licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership or coordination experience in traffic management, civil, or construction.
• Understanding of traffic management planning, design, and methods.
• Strong planning, scheduling and problem-solving for shifting priorities.
• Ability to coach field teams in fast-paced, safety-critical settings.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid health, safety and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily TTM operations to deploy crews, vehicles and equipment to meet job and client requirements.
• Audit safety and compliance to ensure safe, compliant traffic management services across sites.
• Lead and coach crews with regular check-ins to build a safe, high-performing team.
• Serve as the main client contact for daily updates and issue resolution.
• Promote safety by enforcing checks, reporting incidents, and supporting investigations.
