Job summary

AWF Group in Marlborough is seeking experienced traffic control professionals and STMS workers to join our civil and infrastructure projects. You will be required to operate traffic management devices, direct traffic, and ensure site safety, with duties that follow CoPTTM standards.

Candidates should have practical experience, a valid licence is advantageous, and you must be able to travel to sites. We offer reliable weekly pay, KiwiSaver, sick leave, and holiday pay, plus PPE and training

Qualifications

Applicants must have current right to work in New Zealand.

Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening is required.
Criminal background checks are part of the process.

Responsibilities

TTM Implementation: Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management devices as per the TMP.
Site Management: Ensure the safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians by managing traffic flow.
Directing Traffic: Use stop/go paddles or hand signals to guide traffic.
Compliance: Operate in accordance with CoPTTM and Health and Safety regulations.
Monitoring and Communication: Regularly inspect devices, monitor traffic conditions, and communicate with workers and the public.
Modification and Reporting: Adjust equipment, pause operations for safety, report hazards or incidents.
Entry/Exit Control: Control access to the worksite.
