Job summary

Fletcher Building in Gore, Southland, is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Coordinator to manage shed sales for the Southland Hub. You will respond to customer inquiries, provide product advice, quotes, and pricing information, and work with Account Managers and suppliers to meet customer needs.

Daily duties include handling shed enquiries by phone, email, and walk-ins, following up quotes to improve conversion, coordinating with suppliers on specs and timelines, and ensuring consistent

Qualifications

• Proven customer service or sales coordination experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time.
• Team player in a close-knit team.
• Computer literacy with Outlook, Word; training on in-house systems.
• Interest in building products and processes.

Job description

This role will see you be responsible for processing shed sales for our Southland Hub. Providing exceptional customer service and support to our Account Managers, suppliers, and customers. Your main objective will be to ensure a seamless customer experience by managing customer inquiries, providing product advice, quotes, and pricing information, and seeking out solutions to meet customer needs.

Daily you will be responsible for –

• Actioning Shed enquiries by phone, email & walk-in customer contact
• Providing customers with product advice, quotes, and pricing information as well as tailored solutions
• Follow up on shed quotes to maximise conversion and lift Southland shed category performance
• Coordinate with suppliers on specifications, timelines, customisation options, orders and
• Ensure shed sales are delivered consistently and efficiently across the region
• Support with general Trade Support when required

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday with rostered Saturdays.

About you:

• Proven Customer Service or Sales coordinator/Operations Administrator experience
• Excellent communication abilities, in both verbal and written with the capability to provide personalized solutions
• Be able to work under pressure and organise your time and environment for maximum efficiency
• Open minded team player who thrives working in a closeknit team
• Computer literacy is important, confident user of Outlook, word & general computer software, however, full training will be given on our in-house computer systems
• Building Industry experience is not essential, however the preferred candidate will have a desire to learn about our products & building processes
