Job summary

PlaceMakers in Taupo is seeking a Trade Support/Pricing Team Member to help our trade customers get the job done. You will provide pricing and estimating support, prepare quotes, process orders, and deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced branch environment.

Working closely with customers, suppliers and Account Managers, you’ll use your building knowledge, attention to detail and solid computer skills to keep projects moving and build strong relationships day by day.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade support, estimating, pricing, sales support, customer service or related role
• Building industry knowledge and genuine interest in construction products and solutions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercial mindset with confidence working with pricing, margins, and quotations
• Strong computer literacy and experience across multiple systems
• Proactive, organised approach and ability to work independently
• Ability to identify solutions and add value for customers
• Team-first attitude and commitment to outstanding service

At PlaceMakers, we're built on Know How. Can Do. We're looking for a Trade Support/Pricing Team Member to join our Taupō team and help our trade customers get the job done.

You'll provide pricing and estimating support, prepare quotes, process orders, and deliver outstanding customer service. Working closely with customers, suppliers, Account Managers, and the wider branch team, you'll use your building knowledge, attention to detail, and strong computer skills to deliver solutions that keep projects moving.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a real difference for customers every day.

What your day-to-day will include

• Preparing quotes, estimates, and pricing proposals
• Supporting trade customers with enquiries and product solutions
• Reviewing plans and specifications for building projects

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday with rostered Saturdays based in our PlaceMakers Taupo branch.
