Job summary

Mitre 10 Waihi is seeking a full-time, fixed-term Trade Support team member to join our busy Trade operations. This office-based role supports the Trade team with quotes, orders, deliveries, and customer inquiries, helping to deliver a smooth, professional DIY experience for our trade customers.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with a fixed-term ending February 2027. The role requires trade industry knowledge, strong administration and communication skills, and a positive,

Qualifications

• Experience in trade, timber, production, or building industry
• Experience preparing quotes and estimates
• Strong computer and administration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management

Responsibilities

• Preparing quotes and estimates for trade customers
• Processing customer orders and coordinating deliveries
• Providing phone and email support to trade customers
• Assisting with account enquiries and order tracking
• Supporting the Trade team with administration and reporting
• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Helping to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our trade customers
