Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Taupo is seeking a reliable Yard/Drive-Through Associate to assist Trade and DIY customers. You’ll help in the yard and drive-through, and pick and load customer orders for delivery or collection.

This permanent full-time role includes weekend rosters and reports to the Trade Operations Manager. A can-do attitude, good health and safety practices, and a current NZ driver’s licence are essential; forklift experience is advantageous.

The role will be dealing with both Trade and DIY customers in our fast-paced Drive-Through department. The key responsibilities are assisting customers within the yard and drive-through, picking and loading customers’ orders for deliveries and collection.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who is able to roll up their sleeves and assist our Trade Team, both in the yard and drive through. This role is a permanent full-time role, including weekends on a roster basis, reporting to the Trade Operation Manager.

For This Position We Are Seeking Someone Who Has

• Enthusiasm and team spirited with a "can do" attitude.
• Preferably a reasonable understanding of the building industry and its products.
• Have solid health and safety value.
• Preferably be physically fit as some manual heavy lifting is involved.
• A quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt, be flexible and willing to learn.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have a current full NZ driver's licence.
• Experience using a forklift, F endorsement would be preferrable.
• Valid NZ work visa, residency or citizenship.
