Job summary

Plumbing World is seeking a Showroom Sales Consultant for our Christchurch branch. This permanent part-time role covers Saturdays (6 hours) with a focus on customer service, design insight, and product knowledge to help customers create their ideal bathrooms.

You will join a friendly team in a national Kiwi business known for its customer service and quality brands, with opportunities to grow your career and contribute to store success.

Qualifications

• A really good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Retail or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of showroom displays and merchandising.
• Deliver excellent written and verbal communication with customers.
• Build and manage relationships with customers and trade customers.
• Track and progress projects through the sales process.

This permanent part-time role involves working 6 hours on Saturdays only.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Maintaining a high standard of displays & merchandising within the showroom.


• Excellent written, verbal, listening & communication ability.


• Computer literacy, an emphasis on detail and accuracy.


• Proven record in relationship building/management.


• Identify and track projects through the sales process.


• Physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting (up to 20kgs)


• Pride in your personal appearance.


• A full, clean NZ driver's licence is advantageous.
