Dulux Group NZ is seeking a customer-focused team member to join our Blockhouse Bay store, featuring a full-time role across New Lynn and nearby locations. You will deliver exceptional service, offer colour advice, and help customers complete projects with accurate product recommendations.

• Process sales transactions, invoices and orders accurately.
• Assist with stock management, merchandising, and store presentation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building strong relationships with trade and DIY customers and providing outstanding service every day
• Providing product recommendations, colour advice, and practical solutions to help customers complete their projects
• Supporting store sales growth through customer engagement, upselling opportunities, and promoting our products and services
• Mixing and tinting paint accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Processing sales transactions, invoices, and customer orders with a high level of accuracy
• Assisting with stock management, merchandising, and maintaining an organised and welcoming store environment
• Supporting a culture of safety and ensuring all tasks are completed in line with company procedures

This is afull timerole based across our New Lynn and nearby stores, you will float between the stores depending on requirements.

• Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with a wide range of customers
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to develop new skills
• Someone who takes pride in their work and has excellent attention to detail
• A team player who can work independently and contribute to a busy store environment
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, trade, hospitality, or sales is advantageous but not essential
• Physically fit and capable of safely lifting paint products up to 25kg
