Job summary

Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety in Avondale is seeking a motivated Trade Centre Supervisor to lead daily operations at the Avondale Trade Centre, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and drive branch commercial performance. Reporting to the Trade Centre Manager, you will work with your team to achieve sales targets, manage inventory and administration, and develop leadership skills for career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, trade sales, customer service or similar customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Trade Centre Manager to achieve and exceed branch sales targets, KPIs, and budget objectives.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales, increase customer engagement, and improve branch performance.
• Lead by example by delivering exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships.
• Influence positive outcomes through collaboration, initiative, and a solutions-focused approach.
• Coordinate daily branch activities to ensure customer requirements are delivered accurately and on time.
• Assist with inventory management, stock control, stock takes, and inwards goods processes.
• Support branch administration, including invoices, banking, stock receipts, purchase orders, credits, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and branch presentation.
• Undertake manual handling tasks and support operational activities as required.
• Work collaboratively with Account Managers and internal stakeholders to maximise customer opportunities and branch growth.

• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• The ability to influence others through your actions, attitude, and work ethic.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Experience with industrial products, PPE, engineering supplies, tools, or related industries would be advantageous, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
