Job summary

Amentum seeks a toolroom/inventory technician to support maintenance activities in Antarctica. You will receive, store and issue tools, inspect for wear, and perform repairs as needed. Proficiency in Maximo, Excel, and Word is required, along with strong attention to detail and clear communication.

You will contribute to a safe workplace, maintain accurate records, and participate in safety programs while supporting field-based operations in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years issuing, maintaining and monitoring tools required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue tools, measuring devices, and equipment.
• Inspect tools for defects and wear; report issues to supervisor.
• Repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment.
• Mark and identify tools using tags and stamps.
• Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Maintain perpetual inventory using Excel, Maximo or manual records.
• Keep work area clean and safe; prioritize safety.
• Perform other duties as required.
