Job summary

Sealord Group Ltd in New Zealand invites applications for a 2nd Mate on FV Tokatu to step into a leadership role aboard a modern deep-sea vessel. You will help lead the deck crew and promote a strong safety culture alongside the Skipper, 1st Mate and crew.

Who we're looking for

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Bosun, Fisher A or B Deckhand ready to step into a leadership role. You’ll need:

• At least 12 months' experience on a deep-sea fishing trawler
• A current Deckhand Certificate
• A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and leadership

Working an 8-hours-on / 8-hours-off roster, you’ll be part of a crew that values professionalism, performance, and getting the job done right.
