• Proven experience in managing yard operations and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall daily timber yard operations.
• Plan and coordinate receiving, storage, picking and dispatch of timber.
• Oversee inventory levels and stock control systems.
• Supervise yard employees and team leaders.
• Plan staff rosters and daily priorities.
• Coordinate timber deliveries and customer collections.
• Monitor timber quality and quantity on arrival.
• Manage supplier and logistics relationships.
• Control stock losses and wastage.
• Develop yard operating procedures and safety compliance.
• Schedule maintenance of equipment and arrange repairs.
• Review performance and implement improvements.
