Job summary

Placemakers in Wellington is seeking a dependable Warehouse & Drive-Thru team member. You will assist customers in the timber yard, load and unload goods, process orders, and help keep the warehouse safe and efficient. A valid class 1 driver licence and forklift licence are preferred.

Trade knowledge or warehousing experience is helpful. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a roster. We offer competitive pay, staff purchasing privileges, development opportunities within

Qualifications

• Full clean class 1 driver licence and forklift licence preferred.
• Warehousing or trade/product knowledge is advantageous.
• Physically fit with solid health and safety values.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in our timber yard and Drive Thru department.
• Loading goods onto customer vehicles.
• Processing customer orders and transactions.
• Picking orders for delivery when needed.
• Monitoring inventory and cycle counts.
• Assisting to maintain an efficient warehouse.
• Operating a forklift.
