Job summary

Placemakers in Havelock North, North Island, is hiring for a Yard & Drive Thru Team Member. You will assist customers in our timber yard and Drive Thru, load goods onto vehicles, and process orders while helping keep stock accurate.

The role is permanent full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays. A forklift licence and a class 1 driving licence are preferred, and a competitive hourly rate is offered along with staff purchasing privileges.

Qualifications

• Warehousing or trade knowledge is preferred.
• Full clean Class 1 driver licence and forklift licence/experience preferred.
• Physically fit with strong health and safety values.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the timber yard and Drive Thru area.
• Load goods onto customer vehicles.
• Process customer orders and transactions; pick orders for delivery as needed.
• Monitor inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Help maintain an efficient warehouse.
• Operate a forklift.
