Job summary

Placemakers in Hawke's Bay (Napier) is seeking a permanent full-time Yard and Drive Thru team member to service customers, load vehicles, and process orders. You will help maintain stock accuracy and assist with deliveries as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a clean Class 1 driving licence, a forklift licence (preferred), warehousing experience, and good computer/numeracy skills. Competitive hourly rate and staff benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Full clean Class 1 driver licence required or preferred
• Forklift licence preferred
• Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience advantageous
• Physically fit with health and safety mindset
• Can work independently and in a team
• Good attention to detail and numeracy

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in our timber yard and Drive Thru department
• Loading goods onto customer vehicles
• Processing customer orders and transactions
• Picking orders for delivery when needed
• Monitoring inventory and cycle counts
• Maintaining an efficient warehouse
• Operating a Forklift
