Job summary

JobSpace is seeking a qualified joiner or a candidate with proven joinery skills for a full-time position at our Hornby yard in Christchurch. You will read drawings and plans, manufacture both commercial and residential joinery from scratch, and operate relevant machinery with confidence.

The ideal applicant works well in a team, has reliable transport to the Hornby location, and is prepared to pass a drug test. NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified joiner or proven high level of joinery experience.
• Ability to read and follow drawings & plans.
• Experience manufacturing commercial and residential joinery from scratch.
• Experienced and confident using joinery machinery and tools.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Own reliable transport to get to and from Hornby yard.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
