Art Ceramic Tile – Queenstown, South Island

Art Ceramic Tile Ltd is a tiling company based in Queenstown, and we are currently seeking Experienced Tilers to join our team in Queenstown – Otago.

We are seeking someone who is competent in laying porcelain, natural stone, and mosaic tiles, and who can work independently as well as alongside others. Maintaining our reputation for delivering a quality finish is crucial. Therefore, maintaining work standards that meet both our expectations and those of our customers is essential.

Our successful applicants must have:

• Ideally 3+ years' experience (at least 2+ years considered) as a Tiler;


• Proficiency and good knowledge in waterproofing systems, screeding, soap recesses, mitred corners, floor and wall tiling, and small and large format tiles including mosaics;


• Experience measuring and marking out tile layouts;


• Experience preparing surfaces and applying waterproofing systems;


• Experience cutting, laying and grouting tiles to a high standard;


• Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment;


• High level of responsibility, punctuality, reliability, and strong attention to detail;


• Strong problem-solving abilities;


• A mature attitude and good communication skills;


• A respectful, enthusiastic, honest and presentable demeanour;


• A good level of physical fitness;


• Knowledge of underfloor heating system installation (an advantage);


• Flexibility to work weekends if required.

We can offer you:

• A permanent, full-time position with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week;


• The hourly rate will be between $35.00 and $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level;
