Job summary

Art Ceramic Tile Ltd in Queenstown, Otago, is seeking an experienced tiler to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle porcelain, natural stone, and mosaics, work independently or with others, and maintain high-quality finishes.

Applicants should have 3+ years' tiling experience (2+ years considered), strong knowledge of waterproofing, screeding, and layout, and the ability to work unsupervised or in a crew. NZ residency or valid work visa required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years tiling experience (2+ years considered)
• Competent with porcelain, natural stone, and mosaics
• Experience measuring and marking tile layouts
• Experience preparing surfaces and applying waterproofing systems
• Ability to work unsupervised or in a team
• High level of responsibility, punctuality, reliability and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Mature attitude and good communication skills
• Presentable demeanour and good physical fitness

Responsibilities

• Lay porcelain, natural stone and mosaics to a high standard
• Maintain quality finishes meeting our expectations and client needs
• Work independently or with a team to complete projects
• Measure, mark out, cut and lay tiles accurately
• Prepare surfaces and apply waterproofing as required
• Be reliable, punctual and responsible in all tasks
