Job summary

TCDC in Whitianga is seeking a Water Services Field Representative to administer and monitor three waters operations. Based in Whitianga with some flexibility, you will liaise with contractors, provide technical advice to customers, and manage contract administration in a dynamic community setting.

The role emphasises health and safety, statutory compliance, and collaboration with regulatory bodies. A Diploma or National Certificate in the three waters area and a NZ driver’s licence are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or National Certificate in the three waters area.
• Strong written and oral communication, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of any specialised three waters software applications would be an advantage.
• Full NZ drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors the performance of the Three Waters Operations and Maintenance Contract.
• Provides timely and quality advice to customers and liaises with consultants and contractors.
• Manages contract administration and provides engineering services for subdivisions and developments.
• Undertakes health and safety management and ensures statutory compliance (e.g. resource consents).
• Liaises with regulatory bodies such as Waikato Regional Council and Taumata Arowai.
