Job summary

Thames-Coromandel District Council is seeking a dedicated professional to administer and monitor the Three Waters Operations and Maintenance Contract from its Whitianga base, with potential work location flexibility.

You will provide technical expertise in three waters operations, support subdivisions and developments, and manage contract administration, health and safety, and statutory compliance with regulators such as Waikato Regional Council and Taumata Arowai.

Qualifications

• Diploma or National Certificate in the three waters area.
• Strong written and oral communication, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of specialised three waters software applications would be an advantage.
• Full NZ drivers licence.
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in three waters operations and contract administration.
• Advise customers, liaise with consultants and contractors; support subdivisions and developments.
• Ensure health and safety management and statutory compliance with regulators (Waikato Regional Council, Taumata Arowai).
