Job summary

Invercargill City Council, through DecipherGroup, is seeking two Three Waters Design Engineers to join the Water Services team in Invercargill, NZ. You will contribute to the full lifecycle of Three Waters projects from investigation through design and into delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering qualification with 2+ years' civil experience in Three Waters design, and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, NZS3910 and contract management.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of civil engineering experience.
• Civil Engineering qualification.
• Three Waters design experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.
• Understanding NZS3910 and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Three Waters renewal and upgrade projects of up to approximately $4M.
• Take projects from investigation and concept through detailed design and delivery.
• Develop technical designs, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Build your experience in tendering, contracts and construction support.
• Work closely with experienced engineers, contractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Gain broader exposure across Three Waters infrastructure.
