Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in civil engineering with a relevant tertiary qualification.
• Chartered Professional Engineer / Engineering Technician and working toward chartership.
• Experience with 3D design using Autodesk Civil3D.
• Strong understanding of New Zealand standards and codes of practice.
• Excellent English communication and time-management skills.
• Able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering design across infrastructure, roads, water and land development.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation and assessments.
• Lead design for roading, water supply, stormwater and wastewater.
• Provide construction administration and site observation.
• Collaborate with local team to deliver integrated land development solutions.
• Engage with clients, contractors and authorities throughout projects.
• Apply 3D design tools to support engineering solutions.
• Manage own projects and workload to deliver quality outcomes.
