Merchant 1948 in Newmarket, Auckland, is seeking a Third in Charge to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, lead on shifts, and keep the floor moving throughout the roster.

You will coach team members, drive sales, and create memorable customer experiences while helping maintain a positive, inclusive store culture and assisting with visual merchandising, stock, and store standards.

We’re looking for a motivated and capable Third in Charge to join our team at Merchant 1948 Newmarket store. You’ll support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in running the floor, coaching the team, and keeping things moving – especially when leadership isn’t on‑site. It’s a great next step if you’re looking to grow your leadership skills while staying hands‑on with the team and the customer experience.

• Minimum Hours: 37 hours per week


• Hourly Rate: $26.00 + bonus potential!
