Job summary

Merchant 1948 Bayfair store is seeking a Third in Charge to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. You will lead on the floor, coach the team, and keep operations moving, especially when leadership isn’t on-site.

Ideal candidates have retail experience and leadership aspirations, a passion for sales, and a calm, solution-focused approach. You’ll contribute to a supportive culture and excellent customer service.

We’re looking for a motivated and capable Third in Charge to join our team at Merchant 1948 Bayfair store. You’ll support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in running the floor, coaching the team, and keeping things moving – especially when leadership isn’t on-site. It’s a great next step if you’re looking to grow your leadership skills while staying hands-on with the team and the customer experience.

Here’s what’s on offer:

• Role: Third in Charge
• Rostered Hours:
  • Wednesday: 12pm - 3pm
  • Thursday: 4pm - 9pm
  • Friday: 9:30am - 4pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 5pm
• Minimum Hours: 21 hours per week
• Hourly Rate: $26.00 + bonus potential!

What your day will look like:

• Supporting day-to-day operations and stepping in to lead shifts
• Coaching and developing team members during your shifts
• Driving sales and keeping your team energised and focused
• Creating memorable customer experiences
