Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) is seeking Programme Facilitators to deliver intensive, therapeutic programmes to offenders in the community or in prison. You will plan sessions, write reports, monitor progress and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support rehabilitation and positive change.

Ideal candidates are resilient, collaborative, excellent listeners, and comfortable receiving feedback.

Qualificações

• Excellent listening and communication skills with participants, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions, individual or group therapy.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures with respect for tikanga Maori and Pacifica.
• Willingness to receive feedback and develop practices through reflection and ongoing learning.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prepare programme sessions and activities for participants.
• Monitor progress and adjust approaches to maximise participation and learning.
• Prepare reports and administrative tasks related to programme delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support rehabilitation and strategic goals.
