Ara Poutama Aotearoa is seeking Programme Facilitators to deliver intensive, therapeutic programmes to offenders in the community or prison. The role involves planning sessions, reporting, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enable positive change.

Qualifications

• Effective listeners and communicators who build positive relationships with participants and stakeholders.
• Experience delivering and facilitating therapeutic interventions, individual or group therapy.
• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Knowledge of Maori & Pacifica culture and applying kaupapa Māori practice where relevant.
• Open to regular feedback and reflective practice in a prison setting.
• Competence in report-writing and holding a current NZ Driver's Licence.

• Plan and prepare therapeutic programme sessions and admin as needed.
• Monitor progress to enable participation and learning for participants.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support rehabilitation goals.
