Job summary

The New Zealand Government, Ara Poutama Aotearoa, Auckland Region Women's Corrections Facility (ARWCF), seeks Programme Facilitators to deliver intensive, therapeutic programmes for offenders in prison. You will help participants take responsibility for offending and support their rehabilitation while planning sessions and monitoring progress.

We value active listening, strong relationships, and openness to feedback, with a requirement for a NZ Driver’s Licence and willingness to develop

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and facilitating therapeutic interventions, ideally group therapy.
• Strong listening and communication skills with participants and stakeholders.
• Ability to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn Maori & Pacifica culture and practices.
• Growth mindset with openness to feedback and self development.
• Competence in report-writing and documenting progress.
• Full NZ Driver's Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intensive therapeutic programmes to offenders in prison.
• Plan and prepare manualised sessions and monitor progress.
• Record clear reports and support learning and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide guidance and walk alongside participants on their journey.
