Job summary

DuluxGroup NZ is seeking a commercially minded Category Manager to lead the Textures and Renders portfolio across New Zealand. You will shape portfolio strategy, identify growth opportunities and drive product launches with input from local and Australian stakeholders.

You’ll work closely with technical, sales and operations to deliver strong business outcomes, bring market insights, and influence portfolio direction in a dynamic construction materials market.

Qualifications

• Experience in category, product or commercial marketing management.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability.
• Experience developing business cases and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a high-impact textures and renders portfolio across NZ.
• Identify market opportunities and assess their potential for New Zealand.
• Develop business cases and support new product development and launches.
• Lead portfolio reviews, lifecycle management and profitability initiatives.
• Partner with sales, technical, commercial and operational stakeholders.
• Drive product performance through data-led commercial decision making.
• Collaborate closely with Australian category and marketing teams.
• Support the development of customer-facing technical and product information.
