Job summary

Millennium Services Group invites an experienced Territory Specialist to own a diverse portfolio of cleaning and security contracts across Invercargill. You’ll lead Supervisors, work onsite with clients and teams, solve problems, and ensure we deliver on our commitments.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager – New Zealand, you’ll drive workforce planning, safety compliance, and performance across multiple sites, with the flexibility to support 24/7 operations as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in cleaning, security, facilities or contract services.
• Experience leading Supervisors and frontline teams across multiple locations.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness with labour costs, budgets and performance.
• Proficient with rostering, payroll and reporting systems.
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving and QA capability.
• Hands-on leadership style with willingness to be on-site.

We’re looking for an experienced operational leader to join Millennium as a Territory Specialist, taking ownership of a diverse portfolio of cleaning contracts across Invercargill.

The Role

Reporting directly to National Operations Manager – New Zealand, you will oversee a portfolio of cleaning and security contracts across the Southland Region.

You’ll lead Supervisors across the Region. This isn’t a desk-based management role. You’ll be visible across your sites, working with clients and teams, solving problems, identifying opportunities and making sure we consistently deliver what we promise.

Millennium operates 24/7, so flexibility to support your teams and clients outside standard business hours will occasionally be required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure contractual commitments, KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and workforce planning
• Manage labour, rostering, payroll, budgets and operational reporting
• Conduct site visits and quality audits and lead service recovery where required
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and service delivery
• Ensure strong health & safety, regulatory and company compliance
• Provide practical, hands‑on leadership when your teams need support

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years’ experience within cleaning, security, facilities, contract services or a similar operational environment
• Proven experience leading Supervisors and frontline teams across multiple locations
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial awareness, including experience managing labour costs, budgets and operational performance
• Confidence working with rostering, payroll and reporting systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving and quality assurance capability
• The ability to prioritise and make decisions in a fast-moving operational environment
• A practical, hands‑on leadership style and willingness to get out amongst your teams
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation when required
• A current full New Zealand Driver Licence
