Qualifications

• Must have prior cleaning experience in a professional setting.
• Proven ability with floor scrubbing, burnishing and detailed cleaning.
• Comfortable working overnight shifts in a shopping centre environment.
• Must hold a Full New Zealand Driver Licence and have reliable transport.

Responsabilités

• Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Floor scrubbing, burnishing, and detailed cleaning.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean amenities, including toilets and washrooms.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Spot clean furniture and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean internal and external glass as required.
• Dust and wipe down hard surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for clients and visitors.

The Role

Join the Millennium team! We're looking for reliable and motivated Cleaners to join our team at Shirley, Christchurch.

We have part-time opportunities available, with shifts across weekends.

Saturday: 2200-0700

Hourly rate of $29.90 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Floor scrubbing, burnishing, and detailed cleaning.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean amenities, including toilets and washrooms.

About You

• Previous cleaning experience (commercial cleaning experience is highly regarded).
• Proven experience in floor scrubbing, burnishing, and detailed cleaning.
• Comfortable working overnight shifts within a shopping centre environment.
• Must hold a Full New Zealand Driver Licence and have reliable transport, as public transport is not available during these hours.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A reliable, punctual and positive work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Experience using floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers or sweepers is an advantage.
