Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is seeking a Freezer Storeperson to help move stock from our Temperature Controlled warehouse to more than 200 stores across the South Island. You will load, pack, label and ship orders, and operate pallet jacks.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 25 kg, and a commitment to Health and Safety. Training is provided; pre-employment checks including drug testing apply, and training week is paid.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Comfortable working in temperatures 8°C to -20°C.
• Forklift license or experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transport to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and completing product orders (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Bulk repetitive picking – heavy lifting up to 25kg.
• Operating machinery and electric pallet jacks to move stock.
• Following Health and Safety guidelines to keep you and team safe.
• Reach daily targets and contribute to feeding the South Island.
