Job summary

Discover Tekapo is seeking reliable housekeeping staff for a fixed-term role at Lake Tekapo. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with additional hours during busy periods. Full training and clear day-to-day guidance are provided.

Join a friendly, welcoming team and help prepare holiday homes to a high standard. Shared staff accommodation may be available, subject to availability and agreed terms.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided; no commercial cleaning experience required.
• Dependable, willing to learn and take pride in doing a job well.
• Available to work weekends and public holidays as rostered.

Responsibilities

• Make beds and prepare bedrooms.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms and living areas.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and clean windows.
• Replace linen and restock guest supplies.
• Empty rubbish and recycling.
• Report maintenance, damage or health and safety concerns.
• Follow cleaning checklists and property instructions.
• Work closely with housekeeping and office teams.
