Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking a Senior Advisor - Governance & Reporting to lead governance coordination and reporting across our Architecture & Security function in Wellington. You will manage governance processes and deliver insights for technology and cyber risk oversight, partnering with architecture, security, and risk teams.

The role emphasizes clear communication of risk, continuous improvement, and high-quality reporting to inform decision-making across Digital IT.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, reporting, PMO, or risk management roles within technology, cybersecurity, or enterprise environments.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, technology risk, and governance principles.
• Proven experience preparing high-quality reporting for senior leaders and Board-level audiences.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, ideally within regulated, government, or public sector organizations.
• Experience using reporting/visualisation tools to develop dashboards and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
