Job summary

Transpower New Zealand is seeking an ICT Risk and Assurance Manager to lead security risk, assurance and governance across IT, OT, cloud and third‑party environments.

You will connect cyber risks with control performance and assurance findings to support senior leaders in governance forums and investment decisions, shaping regulatory readiness and resilience across national infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in cyber/ICT risk, assurance, audit or governance functions.
• Proven ability to develop and operate ICT risk and assurance frameworks.
• Experience supporting senior leadership and governance decisions.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and evidence-based reporting.
• Understanding IT and OT security environments, cloud and third‑party risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT security risk, assurance and governance across IT, OT, cloud and third‑party environments.
• Develop and maintain risk models and assurance programmes with evidence-based reporting.
• Provide reporting to senior management and governance forums on risk and controls.
• Coordinate internal and external assurance activity including audits and regulatory reviews.
• Support regulatory readiness and readiness assessments for critical infrastructure.
