This is a newly established role within ACC's Technical Integration and Process Engineering team. The Technical Design Lead will bridge the gap between high-level solution architecture and the detailed technical designs required by integration engineers to deliver successful outcomes.
Working across Agile Release Trains, you'll be embedded within functional delivery teams alongside business analysts, product owners, integration developers and testers. In this role, you'll translate technical strategy into practical solutions that can be delivered, operationalised, and supported.
While the wider team is primarily based in Wellington, this role offers genuine flexibility and can be based out of any major ACC hub (Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton or Auckland).
The appointing salary for this role is $138,301 - $178,977 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.
Relevant certifications (TOGAF, ArchiMate, a professional cloud architect credential, SAFe Architect, ITIL or CISSP) are highly regarded but not essential if you can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience.
