Job summary

Scania New Zealand in Palmerston North is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to perform repair, maintenance and diagnostic work on Scania heavy vehicles and equipment. You will handle engine rebuilds and servicing, while upholding health and safety standards in a modern workshop.

The role requires a relevant Level 4 qualification or at least 3 years of proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician, a current NZ driver’s licence, and full NZ working rights.

• Repair & maintenance, mechanical diagnostics & service of vehicles & equipment
• Work on all aspects of repairs & maintenance, including engine re-builds & servicing

About You

• You will have a relevant Level 4 qualification or have at least 3 years proven exp working as a Heavy Vehicle Technician
• You take pride in quality workmanship and doing things right. Our quality standards & Scania values mean everything to us, they will mean everything to you too
• You will thrive on ensuring customer satisfaction through your work and how you support your team – happy customers means happy you
• You will have a current NZ Driver’s License
