Job summary

Belron New Zealand is seeking an Autoglass Technician in Dunedin to repair, replace and recalibrate vehicle glass and deliver exceptional service.

You will work hands-on with customers, provide expert advice, and have opportunities for paid overseas experiences within the Belron group. Training toward a National Certificate in Automotive Reglazing (Level 3) NZQF is provided and fully paid.

Qualifications

• Motivated with a hands-on approach to work.
• No prior Autoglass repair experience required thanks to full training.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Location: Smith&Smith Dunedin

• Hours: 30 hours, rostered across Monday - Sunday

What we’re looking for

• Motivated people with a passion for hands-on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.

• No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training.

• A passion for exceptional customer service.

• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value-added products and services.

• Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day.

• A clean driver's license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.

• You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.

• The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test.
